Allison Dugdale, Belair Produce

At Belair Produce, Allison uses her extensive knowledge of food products and techniques to provide customers the added value of information. She is especially enthusiastic about the Watermark line of gourmet specialty foods offered by Belair and opportunity to assist customers in getting the most out of the those delicious and unusual products.

Allison comes to Belair with a wealth of information gained at the side of her mom who was a wonderful cook and a food writer for the Christian Science Monitor. In fact, Allison's first employment efforts were in a catering business which she started at age 13 doing dinner parties for her parents' friends. While at Cornell University, she supported herself working at several establishments including the Moosewood Restaurant, famous for its numerous vegetarian cookbooks.

Moving to Baltimore after college, Allison furthered her experience by working as an Executive Chef at catering facilities, hotels and restaurants. Most recently, Allison ran the gourmet-to-go department of Eddie's of Roland Park, an upscale supermarket outside of Baltimore.

Our newest Chef to join the Belair Produce team is Dennis Shakan.

Dennis�s background encompasses extensive experience managing high-volume, multi-outlet kitchen/banquet/a-la-carte/fine-dining operations. He has won several prestigious culinary awards, maintaining five-star/five-diamond rankings, and setting new revenue records while simultaneously lowering costs for the restaurants he has worked for.
